IMG_0604.JPGDoug Myers is the founder, CEO, and President of, Inc., a leading supplier of project management services, systems architecture, design, proof-of-concept, and software development. Possessing extensive technological expertise, Doug oversees the provision of strong, customized business solutions that have resulted in notable organizational efficiencies for companies around the world. Through informed analysis and insight, he has successfully created sustainable improvements by maximizing budgets and minimizing expenditures, thereby enabling his clients to do more with less.

Proficient in more than a dozen functional programming technologies and utilities, Doug has 30 years of experience in computing and information technology as a top-level executive. He possesses expert knowledge related to the full software development life cycle (SDLC) as well as application development for SharePoint- and Azure-based platforms.

A West Coast native and entrepreneur, Doug started by founding his first successful tech consultancy, Key Metrology Integration, Inc. (KMI), in 1989. Under Doug's leadership, KMI was one of the first companies worldwide to become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. It was then sold to Xeta Technologies, Inc. in 2000.

Shifting his focus while remaining committed to the ongoing development of the software and IT services industry, Doug began to grow the soEASY brand – a company he founded in 1999. Under this banner, he has employed his experience, energy, and strong business acumen to translate project requirements into separate elements that can be enhanced or better controlled through the integration of technology. His highly organized efforts have also been shown to dramatically bolster the success and profitability of a wide range of project implementations, enabling his clients to cost-effectively keep pace with capacity demands.

Known for his strong yet personable leadership, pragmatism, and cost-saving approach to money management, Doug has shepherded implementations of varying scale with budgets valued at $1 million and above. Often called upon to deliver complex solutions within extremely short timelines, he promotes collaboration while managing every aspect of a project lifecycle, from architecture to release. Leveraging the specialized contributions of his team, as well as any stakeholders, organizational representatives, and third-party vendors, Doug is extremely effective at harmonizing a group of individuals. He also specializes in setting standards and practices, developing guidance, and bringing the many moving parts of a project under control.

Doug's notable long-term clients include Microsoft and EMC. Through these ongoing relationships, he is routinely called upon to define and track key performance indicators; create policy; aggregate information to streamline and control dissemination while ensuring follow-through; perform vendor onboarding and cross-vendor coordination; and harmonize the entire process by liaising between vendors, internal security/Ace, operations, and stakeholders.

Among his other notable accomplishments, Doug has developed a training framework for Microsoft Global Services and designed a SharePoint portal-based package aimed at managing the training lifecycle for Consulting Services employees. Proudly maintaining client and sub-contractor relationships throughout the world, he has provided services to The Boeing Company, Weyerhaeuser, Puget Sound Energy, Flow International, and hundreds of small to mid-range domestic and international businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.  

Doug currently splits his time between Seattle and the Bay Area. Known to friends and clients alike as witty and humorous, he enjoys woodworking, exotic cars and motorcycles, cycling, investing, and travel.
